Review: Rossetto liquido a lunga tenuta B by Limoni

Chi di voi mi segue su Facebook, sa che sto cercando di scegliere i must del 2012, quei prodotti che mi sono entrati nel cuore e di cui non potrei più fare a meno. Attenzione: non parlo di quegli amori passeggeri che durano qualche mese e poi si affievoliscono, lasciando solo un bel ricordo, bensì di quelli che non sostituiresti con nessun altro, anche se ti pagassero.

Mentre cerco di stilare questa lista dei “Best of 2012”, mi ritrovo a testare qualche nuovo prodotto e mi viene voglia di parlarvene subito. Cosa che sto per fare, dato che la mia top non-so-ancora-quanti al momento ha solo un prodotto (sì, lo so, sono a un ottimo punto).

Insomma, oggi vi voglio parlare di un prodotto labbra che non mi sarei mai aspettata mi desse tanta soddisfazione: il rossetto liquido a lunga tenuta di B by Limoni. Il colore che ho provato è il rosso acceso.

Inizio con il dirvi che sono solo un paio di anni che indosso il rossetto costantemente, prima mi accontentavo di gloss o di lip balm leggermente pigmentati. In questi due anni ne ho provati tanti, sia classici, sia a lunga tenuta, sia  a effetto “lacca” e devo dire che questo è uno di quelli che mi ha lasciata più contenta. Il packaging ricorda un po’ quello dei gloss, così come l’applicatore: è piccolo e comodissimo da portare sempre nella trousse o in borsa.
La texture è piuttosto liquida ma leggerissima e la formula è arricchita da vitamina E che contrasta l’invecchiamento e non contiene conservanti. Si applica abbastanza facilmente, ma in caso potete aiutarvi con un pennellino labbra per essere più precise.
La prima volta che l’ho provato mi aspettavo un prodotto simile al Vernis à Lèvres di Yves Saint Laurent, ma è meno appiccicoso ed è completamente inodore. Iper pigmentato, tinge le labbra di un rosso accesso che non passerà sicuramente inosservato e, cosa che adoro, ha una tenuta spettacolare oltre a essere no-transfer! È disponibile in sei tonalità, dal nude al rosa bubblegum fino ad arrivare al rosso acceso. Il mio unico consiglio è quello di applicarlo su labbra perfettamente esfoliate e idratate perché, come ogni tinta labbra e simili, tende a seccare un po’. Potete sempre applicare sopra un burrocacao o un gloss, ma la tenuta ne risentirà.

Come di consueto, vi lascio ai miei YES/NOT, che riassumono la mia opinione del rossetto liquido a lunga tenuta di B by Limoni:

NO
– l’applicatore non è di precisione, quindi se avete labbra molto sottili vi conviene usare un pennellino più piccolo;
– tende a seccare le labbra;
– dovete pazientare qualche secondo finché non si asciuga, solo così il rossetto diventerà no transfer;

YES
– dura a lungo;
– il colore non si sbiadisce e non macchia;
– è piccolo e pratico da portare in borsa;
– ha una buona varietà di colori;
– costa solo 7,99 euro;

Those of you who follow me on Facebook know I’m trying to choose best products of 2012, those that captured my heart I couldn’t do without (anymore). Warning: I’m not talking about those crushes that only last a few months and then start to fade away and become just a good memory, but those love you wouldn’t change for anything else in the world. 

As I try to write down this “Best of 2012” list, I have been trying out a few new things and, since my top-i-still-don’t-know-how-many  currently consists of one product (hey, it’s a start!), I’m gonna tell you about a lip product I never expected to get so much satisfaction from:  long-lasting liquid lipstick by B by Limoni. The color I tried is a bright red.

It’s only been a couple of years since I started wearing lipstick almost everyday. Before that I was content to go for a lipgloss or a pigmented lip balm.  In the past couple years though, I’ve tried lots of lipsticks, classic and long-lasting, matte and shiny… I must say this is one of the few that are worth talking about. The packaging reminds me a bit ‘of a simple gloss, as well as the applicator: it is small and easy to carry around in your purse or beauty bag.
The texture is liquid and very light and the formula is enriched with vitamin E and does not contain preservatives. It applies easily enough, but if you want you can use a small lip brush to be more precise.
The first time I tried it I was expecting something similar to Vernis à Lèvres by Yves Saint Laurent, but it’s actually less sticky and it’s completely odorless. It’s also highly pigmented: lips are dyed with bright red that won’t definitely go unnoticed! What I love the most about this product is that, beside being long-lasting, it’s no-transfer! It is available in six shades from nude to a bubblegum pink, to a bright red. My only advice is to apply it on perfectly exfoliated and moisturized lips because, like any lip stain, it does tend to dry out the lips a little.  You could always apply a lip balm or gloss over, but the lasting would definitely be shorter and it would not be no-transfer.

As usual, you will find below to my YES / NOT, which will sum up my opinion of the long-lasting liquid lipstick by B by Limoni

NO:
– The applicator is not very precise, so if you have very thin lips you should use a small lip brush;
– It tends to dry out the lips;
– You have to wait a few seconds until it dries, in order for the lipstick to be no-transfer;

YES:
– Long lasting;
– The color will not fade or stain;
– It is small and easy to carry in your purse;
– Has a good variety of colors;
– It only costs 7.99 euro.
